HOMEBOUND

When you're a little kid walking around the streets of your hometown, you never dream that one day you'll be asked to come back and represent your city as the guest vocalist for it's Bicentennial Celebration. It's just something that never even enters your mind.

And yet, that's exactly what has happened.

I'll be returning to my hometown of Sandusky, Ohio this summer to sing for the city's Bicentennial Concert on Sunday, Aug. 19th. Celebrating 200 years since the city was founded. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better than that, it does, because I'll be singing MY songs backed by a full orchestra. The Firelands Symphony Orchestra. And these folks are really good.

My songs. Full orchestra.

That's not something that happens every day either.

So to my homies, and those visiting the vacationland of Northern Ohio this Summer, mark it on your calendar. Sunday, Aug. 19 at 6:30 pm at the Sandusky Bay Pavilion. Overlooking the beautiful bay. It promises to be a great evening. Yes indeed.

I'm proud to call this place home.

And honored that they're proud to call me a native son.

AS YOU WISH

"So, the last time we played at the Academy of Vocal Arts a whole bunch of people said, "Let me know when you're playing here again, this is a great place to see a show!" And I agree."  - Dan May

It is indeed a great place to see a show.

So, we're letting you know. Saturday, March 10 at 8pm Dan will be playing what is certainly one of Philly's most beautiful venues, and the place where he sang opera back in the day.  Dan won't be doing any opera that night, just songs from his six album, but we can't guarantee there won't be wigs and makeup involved. Hope to see you there.

This is truly a great venue.
